Tasting Notes: “Brothers blend” is how I refer to this collaborative project between Kim and Jon McPherson. 100% chenin from the Lepard vineyard is vinified by Kim in Lubbock, TX, and then shipped to his brother in Temecula, CA, for finishing as a sparkling using the Charmat process. Reminiscent of a classic sparkling Vouvray, with crisp acidity, wonderful citrus notes and a touch of sweetness on the finish. Perfect for those hot summer days on the patio.
