The editorial staff of Beverage Dynamics, Cheers, StateWays magazine accepts wines to be reviewed for publication in those titles and the WineStars app. Any wines sent in this way will be sampled and reviewed by the longest-running tasting panel in Connecticut, comprised of industry writers, producers and enthusiasts. Reviews are published based on four annual rotating panel themes, such as Old World, Under $30, American Wines, and Best of the Year.
Panelists write reviews based on specific criteria: varietal, geographic region, price point, etc . . . Submission of a wine does not guarantee a review. We only publish reviews for wines that score at least 4 stars (86 points).
