Tasting Notes: The Brunel family has been making wine in the Rhone region of France for five generations, and this value offering combines this expertise with the grapes from the Vin de Pays region in the southern Rhone. Old vine grenache is blended with 10% mouvedre. Natural winemaking (concrete tank fermentation) is combined with a new-age eco approach (no chemicals). Fresh and vibrant with very balanced tannins and acidity. A great way to explore red wines beyond ABC (anything but cabernet). Great pairing with shepherd’s pie.
Tasting Notes: A blend of grenache blanc and clairette. This is a great value for the glass. The aromas are elegant but intense: honey blossom and other white flowers, apricot and peach. The rich and creamy notes on the palate would pair wonderfully with any spicy dishes.
Tasting Notes: A lovely example of what one of the Rhône Valley's top appellations is capable of producing. A bright saturated purple in the glass, the nose and palate are highlighted by berry and cherry fruit, with hints of spice. The palate reflects the nose, with warmth and spice, in addition to the exquisite red fruit.
Tasting Notes: Founded in 2007, Ron Yates reflects his family’s seven generations of commitment to the land and farming responsibly in Texas. Ron is the modern interpretation of the Renaissance Man, with a background in the legal profession and the music industry among his other talents. Inspiration struck from his time in Europe. Realizing the parallels in soil and climate, he founded his winery to focus on Spanish, Italian and French varietals. This stunning rosé is done in the classic French style: 100% grenache, cold fermenting and aging in stainless steel. Wonderful berry and citrus notes lead to a long, lingering finish. A beautiful wine to start a summer Texas afternoon, and then finish with a chilled salmon dinner!
